My lingering consciousness shows me
a mixture of millennium in this place
where there is no time or space:
Like a kaleidoscope flashing pictures
from the recorded screen of Lazarus' mind,
I see the birthing of a Great Prophet:
Arising from the road to Arabia,
following the covenant of Moses,
tending a Book of ethical values:
Guiding a people of believers,
learning, no wind will celebrate their great Jiahads,
when weapons under their pious shirts
pours death into believers of the same Jiahad:
Seeing the holy monk Savonarola
re-awakening murderous primitive myths,
burning books and people: In the people's square:
Seeing this awakened people burn Savonarola,
in their same people's square:
Seeing Adolph and Bonito
repeating this grande human commedia,
burning books and people:
Perishing themselves on publish streets,
surrounded by the chalk white faces of murdered children
from their Chelmos and Treblinkas:
