Died December 19, 1946 and buried at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.
Lafayette was known as "Cripple George" because one leg was shorter than the other.
Cripple George served as Justice of the Peace in Wise County, Virginia.
Cripple George's first marriage was to Mary Alice Hamilton.
Mary was born June 15, 1882.
Mary died April 16, 1911.
Mary is buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery at Coeburn, Virginia.
Cripple George and Mary had the following 6 children:
