Food Inflation Price Index for the Year 2011

Food Prices The following Food Inflation Price Index is based on the Total Retail Cost of 60 different food items in a one-year emergency food supply for one-adult.

Year 2008 Inflation Summary (+15.3%).
Year 2009 Inflation Summary (+6.1%).
Year 2010 Deflation Summary (-1.4%).

The following table shows the change each month in the Total Retail Cost of the one-year emergency food supply since January 3, 2011.
