Coded Hints for All the Puzzles in Each of the Three Games

Frequently someone who is playing this game will only need ONE hint to finish the game. And they ONLY want to see that one specific hint, because they prefer to figure out the solutions to the other puzzles on their own.

If the hints were written in standard sentence form, then a person might accidentally see the solution to several puzzles they had not yet encountered while trying to find the one hint they are looking for. Therefore, the hints in this first section have been coded to prevent you from seeing an answer you don't wish to see. The information in Sections Two and Three is NOT coded.

The Solution to Game One

Go South. Search. Take the can opener. Go N,E,E and look in the desk. Take the ring. Go N. Look in the cabinet. Take the silverware. Go E. Look in the cupboard. Take the tuna. Open the tuna. Drop the can opener. (The next time you see the yellow cat, give the tuna to the cat. Then do what the screen prompt suggests.) Go S,S. Look on the shelf. Put the fuse in the electrical box. Go N,W,S. Push the Up button.

Go N. Examine the bible. Take the bible. Go W,S. Look in the shoe rack. Take the key. Look in the hat. Take the hat pin. Go N,E,E. Unlock the door. Drop the key. Go S. Take the wrench. Go N,W,S. Push the Down button.

Go N,W,W,W. Search. Turn on the water valve. Drop the wrench. Go E,E,E,E,N. Turn on the faucet. Go S,E. Look in the bird bath. Look in the bird feeder. Eat the sunflower seeds. Go W,S. Push on the electrical box. Go D,N. Take the stamps. Go S,U,N,W,S. Push the Up button.

Go N,W. Look in the chest. Take the earrings. Search. Go W. Look in the trunk. Move the trunk. Examine the safe. (By this time you should have found the combination behind the cat's collar.) Turn the [numbers]. Take the cash. Congratulations. You just won the game.

Go E,N. Look under the love seat. Take the fuse. Go E. Look in the cabinet. Take the silverware. Go S. Look in the desk. Wear the emerald ring. Go E,S. Put the fuse in the electrical box. Go N,W,S. Push button number "3".

Go N,W,S. Look on the shelf. Take the key. Go N. Push on Humpty Dumpty. Go W. Take the stamps. Go E,E. Examine the portrait. Take the portrait. Go S. Drop the portrait. Push button number "2".

Go N,W,S. Examine the hat. Wear the gold hat pin. Go N. Look in the cedar chest. Wear the ruby earrings. Go E,E. Unlock the closet door. Drop the key. Go S. Take the wrench. Search. Take the lockpick. Go N,W. Examine the bible. Examine the paper. Rub the dust off the paper. Read the paper. (Write the numbers down for later use.) Take the bible. Go S. Drop the bible. Push button number "1".

Go N,E,E,E. Look in the bird feeder. Eat the seeds. Look in the bird bath. Drink the water. Examine the door. Unlock the padlock with the lockpick. Drop the lockpick. Go S. Take the hammer. Search. Take the can of tuna. Go N,W,W,N. Look in the sink. Open the can of tuna. (You may either give the tuna to the cat the next time you see it, or you may eat the tuna yourself if you get hungry later.)

Go S,W,W,W,W. Examine the steps. Turn on the water with the wrench. Drop the wrench. Go W,S. Examine the door. Remove the nails with the hammer. Drop the hammer.

Go D,N. Search. Wear the pearl necklace. Go S,U,N,E,E,E,E,S. Push the "B" button. Go N. Look behind the furniture. Take the antique plate. Go S. Take the portrait. Take the bible. Push the "A" button.

Go N,E. Look under the trash. Wear the opal bracelet. Go S. Search. Take the bag of diamonds. Pull on the shelf. Go E. Search. To open the safe, you need the numbers you copied off the piece of paper from the bible. Turn the [numbers]. Take the cash. Congratulations. You just won the game.

Go N,W,S. Examine the hat. Wear the gold hat pin. Go N. Look in the cedar chest. Wear the ruby earrings. Go N. Look under the tub. Take the gold coins. Go E. Examine the doll. Take the doll. Go E.
