From the Alabama / Georgia State Line drive West on Interstate 20 approximately 35 miles to the Anniston, Alabama Exit Number 185. Turn Right and take Highway 21 North towards Jacksonville and Gadsden, Alabama. Highway 431 North merges with Highway 21 North approximately ½ mile from the Interstate. Continue driving North through Anniston for approximately 5.9 miles and then Highway 431 North branches to the left while Highway 21 continues straight ahead. Stay on Highway 21 (towards Jacksonville) for another 5.7 miles to Ruth Box Road (just past a Sports Nut Restaurant - Bar -Store). Turn Right on Ruth Box Road. Continue 0.1 mile to the Stop Sign. Four Mile United Methodist Church is directly in front of you.

Enter the driveway on the right side of the church. Follow the paved driveway up to the top of the hill. At the end of the paved driveway near the top of the hill, you will see the "Lester" plot on the left. A few feet further up the hill you will see the "Atkins" plot also on the left.

If you follow the paved driveway on the left side of the Church to the top of the hill, you will see the "Atkins Cemetery Plot" at the end of the paved driveway on the left. In the picture on the Right you can see the ATKINS gravestone. Rosa Jane Atkins' gravestone is also visible in this picture. To the immediate left of Rosa's gravestone, is the gravestone of her daughter, Estell Ophelia Atkins-Dyer (not visible in the picture).
