Jesse Clifton Atkins drove his family from Hampton, Virginia to Jacksonville, Alabama in July of the year 1930. Jesse drove a 7-passanger Packard autombile which was considered to be a luxury car of that time period. The above photo was taken at Noccalula Falls, Alabama just two days after Jesse took the picture of his family on the front porch of his mother Rosa Jane Lester-Atkins' home.
