This was an annual affair for Northern Alabama Civil War Veterans from 1866 until 1916. They would bring their children and grandchildren to the reunion.
William H. Lester (1824) and Charlotte Elizabeth Davies-Lester (1801 to 1890) had a daughter named Rosa Jane Lester (1864 to 1947), and a daughter named Lenora Lester (Lee, 1863 to 1951).
Charles Bentley married Lenora Lester. Some of the children in the above picture were their offspring.
John Thomas Atkins was a Civil War Veteran.
